Steven Kourkoutis – Purchasing Manager Who Works For Company Profit


Talking for hours about the modern concepts of managing and becoming a different person as soon as getting back to operating responsibilities. Yes, you guessed it right. He is the purchase manager. Steven Kourkoutis is a purchase manager with extensive experience in managing inventory and procurement operations.

Evaluating the suppliers based on price, quality and delivery speeds seems to be his daily part of job. In case of any defective or unacceptable goods or services, he will meet the staff and vendors. He also attends meetings, trade shows and conferences to learn about new industry trends. 

Apart from this, he is responsible for few more things. To name a few, Steven evaluates and monitors the contracts to make it sure that the supplies and vendors exactly comply with the terms and conditions. 

Steven Kourkoutis has been working as International Purchasing Manager since 2010 at Salonika Imports and Exports in Pittsburgh. Here, he needs to take care of all the product purchasing decisions and placing orders. It is his utmost priority to ensure that the product is being purchased at the correct cost. Certainly, he is responsible for the company profit and mark up. 

Covering his qualification, Steven completed his Bachelor’s degree in sales management and marketing. He is a quite creative problem solver who is focused at increasing the growth of revenue and exceeding profit goals. 

Steven Kourkoutis started his career as Sales District Manager where he worked for the effective business relationships and communicated full scope of CLT solutions and services to meet the requirements of customer energy saving.
