A closer look into the professional journey of Steven Kourkoutis
With an extensive expertise of more than two decades in
sales management and marketing, Steven Kourkoutis served as a Branch Sales
Manager at T-Mobile where it was his responsibility to oversee all the branch
sales operations. Here, he also directed a sales force of 12 and coordinated telemarketing
functions. In addition to it, he conducted biweekly sales meetings and provided
ongoing hour sales mentoring sessions for the individual team members. He has
worked hard to increase the store revenue annually by tripling the sales and
customer base.
Steven Kourkoutis also served as Global Pension Fund Advisor at Mellon
Financial Corporation from 2002-2007. A pension fund advisor is known to have
an understanding of pension-specific issues and organizational structure in
which official sector pension funds operate for each project. Steven worked
directly with the Investment Bankers to increase the value of their customer
base. He had also bought and sold bonds with directions from advisors daily.
Steven started his professional career as a Sales
District Manager where he worked for making effective business relationships
and communicated full scope of CLT solutions and services.
Steven Kourkoutis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management from
Robert Morris University and is a certified Greek Interpreter from the American
University. Steven possesses great problem solving abilities that help in
driving revenue growth, resolve obstacles, improve morale and consistently
exceed profit growths. He has a solid background in planning and executing
sales and management plans. He has developed negotiation skills and experience
cultivating strategic business partnerships.
